Continuing Education credits for the East Coast Symposium are provided by the North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC (NACCME).

Additional credit applications and approvals are pending. This page will be updated upon approval.

East Coast Symposium Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice registered nurses, registered nurses, social workers, addiction professionals, prevention professionals, health education specialists, certified counselors, and psychologists.

Joint Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, NACCME is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Physician Continuing Medical Education

This activity has been approved to offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.

Physician Assistants

NACCME has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with the AAPA CME Criteria. 

Nursing

This continuing nursing education activity has been approved to offer continuing contact hours for nurse professionals. 

American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Program accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Psychologists

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, North American Center for Continuing Medical Education, LLC (NACCME) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NACCME maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Variable credit for partial attendance may not be awarded. Full attendance is required for all CE activities.  

Instructional Level: Advanced 

NAADAC Addiction Professionals

This course has been approved by NACCME, LLC, as a NAADAC-Approved Education Provider, to provide educational credits. NAADAC Provider #182840. NACCME is responsible for all aspects of the programming.

ASWB—Association of Social Work Boards

ACE LogoAs a Jointly Accredited Provider, NACCME is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. NACCME maintains responsibility for this course. 

Pharmacy

This continuing pharmacy education activity has been approved to offer continuing contact hours for pharmacy professionals. 

The certificate is not the official record of your participation in the activity. The official record of credit will be the information in the CPE Monitor system. Following ACPE Policy, NACCME must transmit your claim to CPE Monitor within 60 days from the date you complete this CPE activity. NACCME is not able to report your claimed credit after this 60-day period. Eligibility for pharmacy credit is contingent upon the successful completion of a post-test and/or evaluation for each activity or session attended.
